Personal Injury refers to injury sustained as a result of trips and falls on T&TEC’s premises, fallen T&TEC infrastructure or electric shock

1. How do I make a Personal Injury Report?
If an incident occurs at a service centre, our Estate Police and Area personnel will be there to assist you with the necessary steps in making the report.
If the injury occurred at another location, the affected party is advised to first seek medical attention if required. Thereafter, persons can visit or call any one of the service centres, where they will be directed to our Security Department for a report to be taken.

T&TEC’s Security Department will investigate the incident and submit a report to the Risk Management Department for review. The Risk Management Department will then contact the person who made the report and request the documents required to initiate a claim.

You should seek medical treatment as soon as possible and provide copies of all bills/receipts of expenses incurred. If liability is accepted by T&TEC, you will be reimbursed for any reasonable costs incurred.

All supporting documents will be assessed by T&TEC and its insurers. Settlement is based on the nature and extent of the injuries incurred.

Settlement payments are made directly by T&TEC’s insurer via their payment methods.
