T&TEC will accept engineers and technicians on assignment/attachment to work in the Control Department, Protection Department and Transmission & Distribution Division alongside T&TEC’s engineering staff, to get practical experience.

Linesman / Electrician Training Programme

T&TEC also offers a three-and-a-half-year Linesman / Electrician Training Programme. Nationals between the ages of 18-30 can apply to enter the programme.

Upon successful completion of the programme, trainees will be certified as linesmen, electricians, meter relay / communications mechanics.
