TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INTRODUCTION:

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (hereinafter referred to as the Commission) provides a credit card payment facility (hereinafter referred to as Autopay) which allows you to set up recurring scheduled payments towards your customer account. Autopay is available through the Commission’s Customer Web Portal and Native Mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the T&TEC App).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

a) Your access and use of Autopay through the T&TEC App is governed by the terms and conditions listed hereunder, which may be amended from time to time.These are your rights and obligations, in this regard, the Commission requests that you carefully read the following. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at app@ttec.co.tt.

b) The Commission reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. You remain, at all times, responsible for ensuring that you are aware of the amended terms and conditions of use and your continued use of Autopay constitutes acceptance.

c) You must review all information provided in the T&TEC App before and after completing your payment schedule settings, including the account number, credit card data, the payment amount and any other information, to verify that such amounts and scheduled payments are correct and are applied to the correct account after the start date specified in the payment schedule settings. The account holder (or other person who is authorized to make payment on the account holder’s behalf) shall receive notification of each transaction by email at the email address specified on the T&TEC App. These transaction notifications should be reviewed to ensure that each transaction was authorized and was accurately completed. You may update the payment scheduled settings at any time or stop the service at any time.

d) All payment transactions undertaken by you (the account holder or anyone authorized to pay on the account holder’s behalf), via the T&TEC App, shall be processed by First Atlantic Commerce (FAC). FAC is a payment gateway that processes credit and debit card payments online using their cGate®SecureVerify payer authentication solution for Verified by Visa and MasterCard®SecureCode™ and based on the Card Associations’ 3-D Secure™ technology. The person submitting data for the purpose of completing a payment transaction, agrees to be bound by FAC’s applicable terms and conditions.

e) By using Autopay, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity and are fully able and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, representations and warranties contained in this Agreement.
